In addition to final action dates and dates for filing, the bulletin contains notes on the diversity visa (DV) category and DV category rank cut-offs that will apply in June and July. The Department reports that high number use in the Employment Third Preference “Other Workers” (EW) category has necessitated the establishment of a worldwide final action date to maintain visa usage within the maximum allowed under the FY-2022 annual limit. All countries are subject to a final action date of 01JAN20 except for China-mainland born, which is subject to a 01OCTOBER14 final action date and India, which is subject to a 15JUNE12 final action date. The Department also reports the establishment of a final action date and application filing date for C5 and T5 (“direct” or non-Regional Center projects) for China-mainland born as forecast in the May 2022 Visa Bulletin.
