The Department of State has released the visa bulletin for June 2023 DOS. In addition to final action dates and dates for filing, the bulletin contains notes on the diversity visa (DV) category and DV category rank cut-offs that will apply in June and July. The Department reports that high number use in the Employment Third Preference “Other Workers” (EW) category has necessitated the establishment of a worldwide final action date to maintain visa usage within the maximum allowed under the FY-2022 annual limit. All countries are subject to a final action date of 01JAN20 except for China-mainland born, which is subject to a 01FEBRUARY22 final action date and India, which is subject to a 01FEBRUARY22 final action date. The Department also reports the establishment of a final action date and application filing date for C5 and T5 (“direct” or non-Regional Center projects) for China-mainland born as forecast in the May 2022 Visa Bulletin.
